  • We are committed to bringing you quality services that are customised to your needs, working with you in every session to help you feel in control of your health and at one with your body. 

  • Yes, sports massage therapy (also known as soft tissue therapy) isn’t just for professional athletes. You do not have to be Lewis Hamilton or Beth Mead to benefit from sports massage. If you play sports at any level, exercise regularly or do a physically demanding job, then sports massage can prevent or help you recover quickly from injuries. It can also do wonders for your blood circulation, quality of sleep and digestion. Techniques used are suitable for both athletes and non-athletes alike. They can help with injuries, chronic pain, muscle aches and restricted range of motion in all of us.

  • Personal training is for absolutely anyone. Whether you’re looking to improve your fitness, lose weight, prep for an upcoming sports event or simply get in shape – we’re here to help you reach your goals.

  • Please dress in comfortable clothing and wear easily removable garments to enable skin contact. Appropriate undergarments must be worn. If your treatment requires contact with the upper body, we would kindly ask that, if worn, bras are rear fastening.

  • Please dress in comfortable clothing that doesn’t restrict your movement. Trainers are advised. 

  • Following booking you will be sent a medical questionnaire and consent form to complete before your appointment. Please complete this and submit as soon as possible. We will also send you out an appointment reminder 48 hours in advance of treatment in case you need to reschedule or cancel. 

  • All treatments will begin with a consultation as well as a physical assessment, with particular attention to the area of focus for your treatment. This may involve some range of motion testing and observation of possible imbalance or dysfunction. This is likely to be longer during the initial appointment, with consultation during subsequent treatment to flag any changes since the previous session. 

    Following consultation and assessment, we will develop an appropriate treatment plan which will be discussed with you, including explanation of any specific treatment modalities being proposed and what to expect. 

    We will advise you on how to prepare for the massage and leave you to get comfortable on the massage couch before commencing treatment. We will use towels where appropriate to maintain dignity and allow us to only expose the specific area being treated. 

    Sports Massage Therapy often involves a firm level of pressure, and we will verbally check in with you throughout the treatment to ensure your comfort.

  • You may experience some tenderness or increased skin temperature. Depending on the massage techniques applied there might also be some bruising. Rest, application of a cold compress and plenty of fluids should see this disappear within 12-24 hours. Your therapist will check in with you on the day following your treatment to ensure you are feeling well.

  • As a close contact service, we are bound by strict measures to control the spread of the virus and to protect all parties. We clean our equipment between treatments and use fresh linen for each client. You are welcome to wear a face covering during the treatment If you wish and request that we do as well. 

  • You can book an appointment with us in a few minutes. Simply click on the ‘Book’ button at the top/side of our homepage and then select either the appropriate service. If you are looking to book a sports massage and it is your first appointment then select ‘sports massage initial assessment’ or if it is a follow up appointment then select either the 30 minute or 60-minute option. A calendar will be displayed with availability. Find a time slot that works for you and follow the instructions.

  • Bookings 
    We require a deposit of £25 upon booking your appointment. The balance is payable following the session and any applicable deposit will be deducted. In the case of block sessions, the full amount is required up front.

    Card payments can be taken through our online booking system.
    Cash can be paid at your appointment

    Cancellations
    We appreciate that life happens and that it might be necessary to reschedule or cancel your appointment. 

    If you do need to reschedule or cancel your appointment, please contact us as soon as possible.

    Unless it is an extenuating circumstance, cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance will result in the loss of your deposit.
